7:34pm "SHIT!", she spat as she was blasted by yet another blue shell making her to come to a stop. Mario, then Yoshi, then Kirby flew past her on the outside. She wrestled her cart back under control and hit boost. Kirby hovered in her path. She purred satisfaction and whispered, "eat THIS you pink prick!", as she sent a red shell right up his tailpipe". 4.34pm "Shit", she muttered wearily as she stared at the column of numbers, unable to find the strength to focus her eyes. She sighed and looked sideways and the pile of receipts. Her head dropped and she rose to her feet to find more coffee. 7:35pm Luigi was closing on her as she hit the bend. She turned hard into a drift building up boost.. he almost passed when the drift ended and she flew forward once more. "Hah.. bye loser! Get back to sucking off your Freddy Mercury tribute act of a brother!". She smirked at her own wit and narrowed her eyes as Yoshi came into view. "Right Yoshi, you little green slag, you're MINE". 4:42pm Arriving back at her desk she slumped hard into her expensive office chair, making it bounce and almost spilling her precious coffee. She tutted and sighed again, placing it down on the desk. With a herculean force of will she focussed her eyes, took the top receipt from the pile and turned back to the spreadsheet. 7:37pm "FUCK YESSSSS", she threw her arms in the air, as the music rose and a gold trophy appeared on the screen. She turned to the room, doing a little victory dance that relied rather more on swinging her ass than was quite necessary. Several pairs of bespectacled eyes blinked and looked away before she could meet their gaze. She smirked. 5.29pm She drew a line through the final receipt and slowly placed the lid back on her pen. She checked her watch. "Thank christ, it's 5.30". She rose to her feet, looking down at her professional attire and with a feeling of renewed energy she muttered, "Time to get out of this suit and go and have some FUN!"
